Erae 2 lab & API

Hello,

Just received Erae 2 and testing it with Erae Lab 1.5.2 on Linux.
A few feedbacks about its integration with Erae lab & API :
- API zone is missing from Erae Lab "Compose" section. Although it still exists if I load an ancient project (made with previous of Erae Lab). Why ?
- Will the CV outputs be available from API ? That would be great if we could address some voltages directly from API
- Still no native widgets for high resolution (more than 7 bit) sliders and faders : very sad to control MIDI & CV with such a low resolution. I'm not sure about CV though, but I can't really figure out what strategy was used to smooth (if any) the output ? Is it raw MIDI to CV conversion ?

If I get the docs right my Behriner PRO-800 accepts two byte MIDI CCs, so it would be nice to control the synth with the full resolution it is capable.

I am also affected by this. I wrote code before delivery to work with the API based on documentation that said the Erae II would support the same API as Erae I. On delivery, I was unable to use my code because the feature is not available. I intended to use the Erae II primarily in API mode. I also would appreciate a 14 bit resolution mode with the api for fingerstream data.

Adding my vote to implement 14-bit MIDI ASAP. This is the main reason I purchased the Erae as an owner of the Sensel Morph.

I don't think this is something that should be pushed back as an update for the distant future. My Erae II is going to stay in its box till 14-bit is implemented (and while my Sensel still works).

+1 on this topic.
I am also the one that bought Erae2 only for API mode.

Sure, it has been a convention for a long time to allow using 2 CC for 14 bit resolution controllers. And since Erae real internal resolution is much higher, I think they should implement this. I mean, what is the point of having so many thousands of sensors to send 7bit midi messages?

I too need the API /Sysex mode to work on my ERAE 2, and if not, xpos, ypos, and pressure  at least need 14 bit versions!

You can see what I'm doing without it, but with a higher res stream of data, and ways to "draw" on the surface, I could build versions of the crazy  interfaces (isometric microtonal boards, spectral drawing...) that I have done for iPads for years. I also want access to the  metronome motor-buzzer to put haptic feedback on some interface actions. And to the mostly idle screen, which could show slider values and the like.
