Is it still not possible to identify API zones per page?

I wanted to check whether it is still not possible to know whic API zones belong to the currently open page via API or cc? If this is not currently supported, are there any plans to add it? As someone using API mode, I feel this is a very necessary feature. Thanks in advance.
