What you’re seeing is normal. Erae 2 creates multiple virtual MIDI ports for different functions (input, output, control layers, etc.), and Logic lists each one separately. It can look excessive, but it’s mainly there for routing flexibility rather than being an error.
If you don’t plan to use all of them, you can disable unused ports in Logic Pro → Settings → MIDI → Inputs or in Audio MIDI Setup on macOS. Keeping only the main ports active usually keeps the list manageable — similar to organizing any complex setup where too many options, whether software tools or even something practical like basement remodeling plans, can feel overwhelming until you filter what you actually need.

Could someone explain me, why I see so many Erae 2 midi ports in “midi’s list” of Logic Pro 11.2.2. please? (check to screenshot)
There are so many of them, that it would take me 30 minutes to check them all off.
