Hi David, the looper overdubs!
We have not implemented the overwrite mode yet.
Ok, thanks. Any clearer instructions on deleting previously recorded loops? My assumption based on the manual is that holding one of the preset (number) buttons then pressing the back arrow key should delete the loop on that preset. But that doesn’t seem to do anything???
This is exactly what you should do, it's strange it doesn't work. Can you please record a short video and send it to support@embodme.com. ?
Thanks
Ok, will do. It might be a few days as i’m running workshops this week.
Before I do that, is there a way to just delete/reset all of the looped material already in the Erae? Then I can demo the problem from a clean slate…
Ok. Time to 'fess up. I was being unobservant. I have a RK008 midi recorder on the output of my Erae, which I'm trying out, which had a short pattern recorded into it. What I didn't realise is that hitting the Play button on the Erae was also putting the RK008 into play. That was where the loop was coming from. Duh. (Loop deletion is working just fine on the Erae)

I may be misunderstanding something here, but I recorded a loop on preset 7, and then tried to delete it by holding down button 7 and pressing the back arrow button. Nothing seems to have changed!
And a question about Loop ... Once the red cursor has made a single cycle sweep, does new data erase the old, or overdub?
