Hello! I opened a request with Erae but wanted to post in case others are having the same issue:
I received my Erae 2 this week. When I first plugged it in it worked fine (Windows 11).
After
I updated to the latest drivers, all three of my DAWs no longer show
they are receiving MIDI information on components that are not set to
MPE. MPE components are being received by the DAW, but non-MPE
components (or components I change from MPE to non-MPE) are not being
received by my DAWs. This is consistent in all three of my DAWs (Cubase,
Ableton Lite, FL Studio) and independent VSTs (Arturia
Pigments/Minifreak and Roli Equator 2).
I've tried various USB
ports, using MIDIIN2 and MIDIIN3, assigning the same channel in in my Inspector as what is being sent in non-MPE on the Erae 2, and creating my
own layouts as well as using the present layouts and the results are all
the same.
My area is powered by the default 65watt charger
and hooked through my computer via the computer USB connection. After
8+ hours of troubleshooting I'm looking for help or wondering if the
firmware and my unit are not working correctly.
