Velocity Erae 2

How does one enable velocity on the Erae 2? Everything is one volume

I have the same problem, and the volume is very, very low.

indeed a good question.

you can see that it seems to  send the value, but is not much....

strangely; LIFT/release (velocity) values are transmitted....

but i see no problems to transmit the velocity values....

certainly with the latest Firmware, which was my first Firmware, so i can't compare.... the sensitivity is great, it can detect strike/pressure quite well and seperate it (because velocity and pressure are the same sensors...)

Hello

We were able to reproduce the problem.

We will publish a patch in the next hour or so...

In addition to the velocity omission I am finding the sensitivity to be not what I had hoped. More pressure is required than expected to produce a note. Even on the extra sensitive setting.

Velocity is working now but takes alot of effort to get to 127 and its just not sensitive enough in general. Can we have a more sensitive setting for a lighter touch? This is what I was really exciting about with MK2. Being able to choose different velocity curves would be good too. Below is a video of the the issues im facing:

I have the same problem. Working with the Sythstrom Deluge it's super quiet when I play keys or drum pads but triggering notes from buttons is relatively loud, i.e. appropriate.

Hi Everyone

This was another bug that appeared on version 1.0.6

So make sure you update to the new version 1.0.7 published today:

Sorry about this but sometimes fixing one thing lead to breaking another...

We are about to finish our repair process for the early backers and finalizing the quality control for all the units in stock in our office.

So in a couple of weeks our dev team will be able to focus more on the bug fixes and we will make sure to enforce our process for testing the software before release and avoid any issues like this.

In the meantime don't hesitate to continue reporting your bugs here on this forum as we keep a close look

Just updated to the latest firmware (1.0.7) (this was difficult, with connectivity issues, which I've emailed directly so won't repeat here) and it seems to have worked, the velocity is now appropriately loud where before it was quiet. Just a quick test but a good sign. Thank you.

Awesome firmware update! I have the sensitivity on the most sensitive setting and it is very responsive to a soft touch and I am able to get velocity over a huge range of numbers, even as low as 1! Well done, team.

I already downloaded 1.07 yesterday and I'm getting poor velocity and sensitivity performance as per the video. You said there is a new FW today but I dont see anything

in my case: firmware 1.0.7 gave me Velocity, and with reasonable output... but still a full, 127, is hard to achieve.. but expression has been extended, drumpads for instance, have a real use now...

Well thats certainly not my experience as you can see from the video. I havent touched it since because its too frustrating to use.

I still have no velocity with firmware 1.0.7
