Sustain pedal possible?

Is it possible to configure the footswitch (inputs 11/12) to be set up as Sustain pedal? I have a standard piano sustain pedal and would like to configure it to act as a sustain action - is this possible?

Just figured this out! It's possible to set the Pedal CC to 64, which is default for Damper/Sustain:

https://nickfever.com/music/midi-cc-list#complete-MIDI-cc-list

MIDI CC
64
Damper Pedal /
Sustain Pedal
On/Off switch that controls sustain. (See also Sostenuto CC 66)
0 to 63 = Off, 64 to 127 = On
≤63 off, ≥64 on

can't get this to work, could you please elaborate some more please. like how do i set this up?

1) Get an appropriate 3.5mm adapter and plug it into either port 11 or 12, as per these Erae docs:

The two rightmost jack outputs (11 and 12) can be configured as expression or switch pedal input. You can enable and configure it in the global settings. The Erae can handle both footswitch (On/Off) and expression (potentiometer) pedal with continuous output.

For the footswitch pedal (with On/Off actions), you should configure the pedal as a button or a note, you have the same configuration options as a button element.

For the expression pedal, the continuous value can be freely assigned to any MIDI CC output.

ok i think what i am trying is different i am try to hold sustain notes on the erae itself, i think what you are doing is sending sustain/expression to another piece of hardware.
