Is it possible to have a Buchla style 223e keyboard on the era touch ii?

Not exactly because of the LED implementation but e are working on a special element to be able to draw each pixel and also to shift horizontally and vertically the Note grid.

It's something we've tried to develop for a while but had to delay for the new firmware of ERAE.

But it's still part of the roadmap for this year for both ERAE V1 and V2

Thanks for the quick answer. Glad you are working on it. I think being able to rotate the sliders to 45deg and have hexagonal touchpads would do most of the trick.
