We have incorporated a MIDI configuration for Buttons in our latest software update which will be released this week. You will be capable to switch layouts via triggering the button on your layout that you have pre-mapped on the Lab. We made a video explaining all this that will be released with the new software 1.2. Stay tuned!
Hi, It's been a few years since this post. Was there ever a video showing how to switch layouts using midi control instead of pressing the buttons on the Erae? I have a Touch 2 with latest FW. Please share link to video or instructions on how to do so.
Do y'all monitor this forum or is it better for me to open a support ticket?

there are some details in the manual page 22/23 ish about layout and project switching , but when I use Flstudio in win7 , its very laggy and doesn't always change layouts on erae2 unless I stop and start the transport in the DAW, IDK if this is my DAW or win7 causing it , or if it is erae2 not picking up the changes untill the daw transport is stopped and started , seems like very odd/bad behaviour to me . seemed to crash the erae quite easily as well , but that might just be my old machine playing up a bit, needs more people and configurations to try it out and report back.
