I was hoping that I could replace my iPad and TouchOSC with the Erae 2, but the 48 element limit makes that goal not possible at the moment..
It is also for me the only thing that prevents me to use more my Erae2. I think that I remember that they said it was on the roadmap, so wait and pray ;-)
Agreed!
Will we ever get an update on whether you plan to provide more than 48 elements per page?
Your company's silence is very telling!
Can't you even get back to the people who have posted here? Your company is the worst company to get information from.
Yeah what's up with this?
I'm sorry to see that despite the promises made at the launch of v2, communication is still almost nonexistent, and it's impossible to know if this 48-item limit will ever be lifted.
Well, maybe it's better than saying "yes" and then not doing it...
absolutely.
But also, now that the API space is available in V2, I'm curious if anyone has explored coding custom solutions that overcome this limit.
yeah it's a total bummer there is not more communication on this.
Very interesting Felix, this means at least that if they took the time to do it it is possible. So we wait again...
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your feedback and for bringing up the limitation regarding the 4-keyboard and 48-basic element cap in layouts. We hear you, and we’re actively working on addressing this.
Removing the 4/48 Limit is a significant change that requires substantial updates to our codebase. We’re committed to making this happen and are escalating this issue as one of our top priority. We want to ensure it’s done right and our current estimate is that this update will be ready by the end of 2025.
In the meantime, we’re focusing on a minor release aimed at further enhancing the product’s stability. This update is planned for release by the end of September 2025.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the platform. Stay tuned for more updates!
Cheers,
Embodme team
