The currently available Keyboard element treats the 12 chromatic notes as 7 white keys and 5 black keys.
I would really love to have a Keyboard element that treats the 12 chromatic notes as 6 white keys and 6 black keys, in strict alternation.
IOW, long white keys (as now), and short(er) black keys (as now, but ideally with a configurable ratio).
This would be an alternative form of isomorphism, similar to, but distinctly different from the Keygrid object.
Goal would be to have all the existing configureabiity of the Keyboard object, but with the 6x6 layout instead of the 7x5 layout. Additionally the ratio of black key length to white key length would be settable. (P.S. this ability could be added to the existing Keyboard object as well.)
I don't think there is going to be a tidal wave of demand for this ahead of time, but I predict that "If you build it, they will come".

Thanks for considering this.
