Erase loop per page and not last entered values

As far as I understand the way the looper work you can erase the last gestures recorded globally but Is there a way to implement a per page loop erase or per step per page? Ideally this operation could be done live so you can modify sequences while playing.

Maybe it's already implemented but I haven'f found how because there's no mention of it in the manual

Cheers

Yes ! Yes !! we need that  !

-Erase per page

-Erase ALL

I agree, this needs to happen! I was so disappointed to find that it was a global erase when it makes so much sense to have erase per page. I really wish you could erase a gesture from a specific element. I could see that being a little harder to implement though.

Hello everyone!

To erase a loop on a specific page, hold the page(s) in question and click the "Undo" button!
To learn more about the looper, check out the video we've published:

I think the idea is to be able to undo the last loop on the page you're on, without deleting every loop on that page. As far as I understand, holding the page number and clicking "undo" would delete every loop going on that page.

The more I play with it for different situations I need to be able to delete the full loop on a specific page and also the last one of a specific page sometime. I would also need to be able to overwrite live and then the looper picks up the new motive so I don't have a silence between deleting the motive and recording a new one.

I see, this is a great feedback, thank you!

That is interesting, how would you implement this feature?

Well for now as it is the record mode is an Overdub mode so there would need to have a way to select an Overwrite mode. Meaning you play a sequence of notes or trigger while the previous sequence is playing and when it reaches the beat 1 of bar one the new overwritten sequence starts to play. If no notes where entered during the loop cycle the overwrite of the sequence is canceled and the previous note sequence keeps playing. To switch between Overdub and Overwrite mode maybe press and hold Record button and one of the page buttons? Maybe the record button could blink differently for both modes? or is it possible to have another color then red? or get the page button to blink? I don't know what are the hardware and software limitations with the ERAE II. This feature would definitely be a big performance update for musicians.
