One use case for this feature that i would like to investigate in the future is the control of EaganMatrix overlays. This enable more external controls on a preset in the EaganMatrix sound engine found in Osmose or Continuum.
The feature is designed with computer in mind to configure the engine. But those overlays communicate through 14 bit CCs. So, any midi controllers supporting 14-bit CCs could be used in computer less setups.

I am posting this in the hope that there are other owner's of the Erae II that see 14-bit MIDI as an essential feature.
It is technically possible with the so-called '16000' sensors, but these are useless without high-resolution data. The pitch bend on my Erae II doesn't really work, I'm not sure if it's a bug or faulty hardware so I'm hoping that with a firmware fix for this, there will also be an update that allows 14-bit across X, Y and Z input.
It doesn't need to change the current workflow, just add the extra LSB MIDI data on the upper channels, from 33 onwards like it is done in the Sensel Morph.
