Better Pressure sensitivity ERAE 2

Just discovered that setting the minimum pressure to higher than 0 makes it much more sensitive and to my liking.

I now have it on MIN : 15

It is actually logical when one thinks of it.

Now I love it !

Thank you Rastko for sharing your discovery. I appreciate you taking the time to post it.

The Embodme AI help chatbot (Thank you thank you thank you Embodme for that! So very helpful.) just gave me a similar suggestion.

However, I could not tell if that pressure slide setting was: adjusting the pressure value downward for producing a sound; or, increasing the volume of the sound at the same pressure setting. What is your experience? Can you now use a makeup brush or ball bearing to trigger sounds?

Thank you again for your time and insights!

cheers

Here's a short video of what I mean. The top keyboard (first part of video) has Pressure at: 0 and 127. The lower keyboard has Pressure at: 50 and 127. "50" for demonstration purposes only.

You can watch either display: "Dynamic Envelope" at the top of the screen; or, the "Expression" vertical bar indicator toward the right side of the screen just below the Dynamic Envelope.

Notice that when I have the Pressure Min=0 (first part of the video, upper keyboard), the initial softest pressure that activates a note produces a very soft note. And you can see that as I increase pressure, both displays show increasing volume.

When I have the Pressure Min=50 (second part of the video, lower keyboard), the initial softest pressure that activates a note produces a much louder note.

So, I do not think the Pressure Slider actually effects the Pressure sensitivity on the Erae 2. It actually effects the synth initial volume. In this case the SWAM Clarinet volume. In other words, minimum pressure required to trigger a note stays the same on the Erae 2. Volume out on the synth increases.

If I am doing something incorrectly or I misunderstand something, please let me know. Trust me. This would not be the first time I was wrong (Maybe only the third time ;-)

Thank you Rastko for your time and efforts in this. I will also include this message in my new post about Erae 2 pressure sensitivity not being make up brush level.

cheers!
